I've been watching something happen in the dating world that genuinely concerns me.
Not as a coach. As a woman.
The current generation is being taught that vulnerability is weakness. That showing interest is desperation. That ignoring someone gives you power over them.
And it's working — in the worst possible way.
Both sides are now playing the same game. Women waiting for men to text first. Men waiting three days to respond. Everyone performing disinterest while secretly wanting connection.
The result?
Two people who actually like each other — sitting on opposite sides of a wall they both built — waiting for the other person to break first.
Nobody breaks first anymore.
So nobody ends up together.
I work with men every day who are genuinely good people. Emotionally available. Ready for something real. But so conditioned by toxic advice that they can't show it without feeling like they're losing.
And women are doing the same thing on the other side.
We've gamified human connection to the point where authenticity feels like a risk nobody is willing to take.
If this keeps going — and I believe it will unless something changes — the next generation won't know how to connect at all.
Not because they don't want to.
Because they were never taught that being real was safe.
That's what I'm here to change. One honest conversation at a time.
